This is pretty self-explanatory.

  1. I feel like this really is what we are trying to get at. Just enjoying and having fun but in a way where we learn how to connect with music and those around us.

  2. It's also interesting to listen to how the rhythm gradually changes over time but retains a duple feel here. I'd like to hear if there are drum circles that start/evolve into three's or some other meter.

  3. Like Catherine said, this is what we were trying to achieve. A moment of serenity and calm where everyone can feel enjoyment and reaches a connection between every individual in the circle. Like the individuals in the video we don't need to worry about the specific individual rhythms that we are creating. We need to focus on the entire circle and feel the rhythm inside of it.

  4. The Rhythm is very simple and driving. But it allows the bells to shine through and float over the drumming. This is an interesting sound, a very relaxed and yet driving feel.

  5. I agree with everybody on this, it is what we want to achieve, where we want to be with music in general, I hope that that is where we all end up as far as feeling comfortable on our instruments and really enjoying ourselves.
