We have been discussing droning in our class, and also it's calm qualities. Also, droning was a topic of discussion in the "Darling Conversations".

  1. This was a really cool effect of a drone and almost made me wish that we had an instrument that could really drone on like that for us to use in class. Just like the effect would be really nice. Really cool take on droning.

  2. I really like this Richard. It is an excellent example of droning and it is very peaceful and makes me wish I was on a beach. I think that this represents what we do in class, which is very good.

  3. Honestly, this seems like something my hipster friend would show me. Its cool but strange. It is very calming though. I honestly like this droning better on this than with voices. I think the harp is very cool like this.

  4. The drone from the harp is interesting because of the variations in it. Since it comes from the wind, it gets imperfections from the variations of the wind, much like a voice varies (unless you actually have breath control or something.)

  5. Droning is like musical yoga. You get to stretch though the idea of being consonant or dissonant and you let whatever is inside of you do the talking. I didn't realize how it could be used for actual yoga in how it makes you relax by just listening to it too.
